Method and control system for operating a power plant and solar thermal power plant

The method involves regulating temperature of super-heated steam to a reference-temperature (TSa, TSb) under measurement of an actual initial-temperature (TEa, TEb) of the steam. A radiation-correction value (EK) is determined based on change of actual solar radiation on super heater-solar collector strands (6a, 6b). The correction value is utilized as a parameter for controlling temperature of super-heated steam in the super heater-solar collector strands. Injection coolers (23a, 23b) are controlled for regulating temperature of the super heater-solar collector strands. An independent claim is also included for a solar thermal power plant that comprises solar collector-steam generation units.
