<p>PURPOSE: Boron-free glass is provided to obtain the chemical resistance property of the glass by optimizing the content of silicon oxide, aluminum oxide, sodium oxide, magnesium oxide, calcium oxide, and zinc oxide. CONSTITUTION: Boron-free glass includes 65 to 72 weight% of silicon oxide, 11 to 17 weight% of aluminum oxide, 0.1 to 8 weight% of sodium oxide, 3 to 8 weight% of magnesium oxide, 4 to 12 weight% of calcium oxide, and 0 to 10 weight% of zinc oxide. The weight ratio of the calcium oxide and the magnesium oxide is between 1.4 and 1.8. The glass is obtained without boron oxide, strontium oxide, barium oxide, and lead oxide.</p> |
