PURPOSE: A multi-pole weaving submerged arc welding device and method are provided to improve welding productivity and to welding times by successively arranging submerged arc welding wires in a row. CONSTITUTION: A multi-pole weaving submerged arc welding device comprises a welding device support(13), metal welding wire reels(2a,3a), delivery motors(6,7), metal welding wire transferring and weaving devices(9,10), welding devices(11,12) and a control panel(14). The metal welding wire reel is installed in the welding device support. The metal welding wire reel comprises metal welding wires(2,3) used as electrode. The delivery motor transfers the metal welding wire to a welding target. The control panel controls all variables required for welding.
