PURPOSE: A solar battery and manufacturing method thereof are provided to add a II group element to a light absorbing layer made of I-III-VI compounds to increase the concentration of holes in the light absorbing layer, thereby enhancing photoelectric effects. CONSTITUTION: A rear electrode layer(200) is formed on a substrate(100). An alloy layer(400) is formed along with the surface of the rear electrode layer. A light absorbing layer(300) including I-II-III-VI compounds is formed on the alloy layer. A buffer layer(500) is formed on the light absorbing layer. A frontal electrode layer(700) is formed on the buffer layer. |
