PURPOSE: A communication method of a terminal and a smart card for high speed electronic payment is provided to improve a processing speed of an electronic payment by simplifying a processing stage in a terminal. CONSTITUTION: A terminal(10) sends a reset signal to a smart card(100). A smart card sends reset response responding to a reset signal of a terminal(210). A terminal generates information designating an electronic payment application among various applications in the smart card(110). A terminal generates terminal random number information for generating a session key. A terminal requests a random number of a smart card for authenticating an electronic payment(120). The terminal generates a session key by using a smart card random number(130). A security session configuration step, an external authentication step and a transaction approval phase step are additionally operated. |
