PURPOSE: A torque converter for a hybrid vehicle is provided to ensure reduced axial length because a damper is arranged on the inner periphery of a turbine. CONSTITUTION: A front cover(4) is rotated with a driving force delivered from an engine or motor. An impeller(6) is coupled to the front cover and rotated together. A turbine(8) is arranged in a posture to face the impeller. A stator is located between the impeller and the turbine. A damper is connected to the turbine.
