PURPOSE: An active noise removal system and method are provided to receive an exclusive audio signal and provide an output signal to a speaker using an exclusive audio signal, analog anti-noise signal, and digital anti-noise signal. CONSTITUTION: An active noise removal system comprises a digital ANC(Active Noise Cancellation) circuit(202) and an analog ANC circuit(204). The digital ANC circuit receives first audio information from a first microphone and generates a digital anti-noise signal for attenuating the noise detected by the first microphone. The analog ANC circuit receives second audio information from a second microphone and generates an analog anti-noise signal for attenuating the noise detected by the second microphone.
