PURPOSE: A propulsion type guide device of a lifeboat for a ship is provided to enable easy access to a lifeboat in an emergency by being installed on a low support structure. CONSTITUTION: A propulsion type guide device of a lifeboat for a ship comprises a mounting recess in which a lifeboat(20) is placed and which is sunken in the water outside a ship in case of an emergency, a guide rail(40) which is formed on both sides of the mounting recess to allow the lifeboat to be propelled, a propellant which covers the back end of the lifeboat and moves along the guide rail to propel the lifeboat, repelling springs(60) which are installed inside the guide rail to be supported on both sides of the propellant, and a spring holder(70) which fixes the back end of the propellant to restrain the resilient force by the repelling springs.
