<p>PURPOSE: A display device and a power supply method thereof are provided to supply a common detection signal for the abnormality of a configuration unit of a power circuit unit. CONSTITUTION: A power factor compensation unit(110) boots DC voltage, and performs power factor compensation of a power circuit unit(18). A detection unit(140) detects the voltage from plural points of the power circuit unit, and outputs a common detection signal. A control unit includes a common input terminal for inputting the common detection signal. In correspondence to the abnormality of the voltage in the plural points indicated by the common detection signal, the control unit controls the operation of the power factor compensation unit.</p> |
