PURPOSE: A method for reducing pitch scale of rolling material is provided to reduce the rolling load added in a rolling material by reducing the vibration which is generated from work rolls of a finishing mill. CONSTITUTION: A method for reducing pitch scale of rolling material comprises the next step. A progressing acceleration of a material at a finishing mill section is instituted. The progressing acceleration of material is limited by the fixed progressing acceleration(S100). A material progressing acceleration limiting step reduces pitch type scale according to rolling overload by controlling the rotational acceleration of a rolling mill.
