PURPOSE: A device and a method for preventing errors in the extraction of material from a furnace are provided to prevent errors of pre/post relation between extraction prediction times of a preceding extraction material and a following extraction material. CONSTITUTION: A device and a method for preventing errors in the extraction of material from a furnace comprises an extracting time comparing unit(100) and an extracting control unit(200). The extracting time comparing unit compares the extraction finish time of the preceding extraction material extracted from a furnace and the extraction prediction time of the follow extraction material. The extracting time comparing unit determines whether the extraction prediction time is faster than the extraction finish time. If the extraction prediction time is faster than the extraction finish time, the extracting control unit extracts the follow extraction material by controlling a material extractor. |
