<p>PURPOSE: A method for forming expanded polystyrene pieces is provided to enable the molding without the drying of foreign materials or moisture contained in the collected waste expanded polystyrene and to impart functionality such as fire retardant characteristic. CONSTITUTION: A method for forming expanded polystyrene pieces includes the steps of: coating pulverized materials obtained by pulverizing expanded polystyrene molded materials by a mixed solution of 4,4'-methylene diphenylisocyanate and a coating solution including a binder resin component imparting adhesive force between pulverized materials; drying the coating material; and performing steam heating press molding.</p> |
