PURPOSE: A PCM assembly and a prismatic secondary battery using the same are provided to simplify a structure by forming a first output terminal having the first polarity at the PCM assembly and a second output terminal with the second polarity using a can itself. CONSTITUTION: A prismatic secondary battery(100) includes a battery cell(120) and a PCM assembly(130). The battery cell comprises a can(102), cap-plate covering an opening the can, first electrode lead and second electrode lead, wherein the can accommodates a battery part(101) in which a first electrode plate, separator(106), and second electrode plate are wound. The PCM assembly includes a base circuit substrate and is electrically connected to the first and second electrode leads. The first electrode lead is formed at the PCM assembly and forms a first output terminal. The second electrode lead is electrically connected to the second terminal and forma s second output terminal. |
