PURPOSE: A heating and cooling system using a three-way valve is provided to prevent an excessive load from being applied to a compressor and to easily operate the system by controlling heating and cooling. CONSTITUTION: A heating and cooling system comprises a compressor(100), a first heat exchanger(105), a second heat exchanger(107), a third heat exchanger(109), and a three-way valve(103). The compressor compresses refrigerants. The second heat exchanger flows out the refrigerants from the first heat exchanger to the compressor after heat-exchanging. The third heat exchanger heat-exchanges the compressed refrigerants. The three-way valve switches the refrigerants so that the refrigerants from the compressor or the refrigerants from the third heat exchanger can flows to the first heat exchanger.
