PURPOSE: A control method of a stretching device is provided to maximize the effect of exercise by controlling exercise intensity through a varying range of motion. CONSTITUTION: A control method of a stretching device comprises: a step of fixing a user's ankle by supplying air into an airbag within an ankle holder when a stretching mode is turned on by a key input button part(130) or a remote controller(101); a step of semi-circulating the ankle holder to the right and left within a minimum angle range by rotating a motor forward and reverse; a step of resetting the stretching exercise angle by gradually increasing or reducing the exercising angle of the ankle holder; and a step of turning off the stretching mode.
