PURPOSE: A steam turbine, which forms air curtain by discharging steam through an outlet hole, and a pump seal for a steam turbine are provided to minimize the leakage of steam by increasing the resistivity against the flow of steam. CONSTITUTION: A steam turbine comprises a pump seal body(310), a pressure groove(314), a tooth part(316) and discharge holes(320). One part of the pump seal body is inserted in the sealing groove formed in diaphragm. The pressure groove makes the steam flow between the diaphragm and body. The pressure groove is formed in one side of the body. A tooth part is formed in the body. The tooth part blocks the steam flowing between the rotor and body. The discharge hole guides the steam, flowing between the diaphragm and body, toward the rotor. |
