Lagging for pipes and containers, in particular for fuel tanks, comprises a coating 2 of resin, a porous layer 3 of glass fibres in the form of felt, net, grid or weave which will permit the passage of a gas or liquid therethrough, a layer 4 of polyvinyl chloride, and a layer 5 of fibre reinforced resin having an outer coating of varnish; the resin may be an epoxy or a polyester resin. Inlet and outlet pipes for monitoring leakage liquid are provided in the porous layer 3; the volume of pores of the latter may be filled by a fluid. |
