PURPOSE: A pneumatic tire having straight side rubber is provided to improve the handling performance or control stability without the influence to another performance. CONSTITUTION: A pneumatic tire having straight side rubber comprises a tread, a Carcass ply(20), a side rubber(60), and an inner liner(90). The tread locates at the outermost of a tire and is touched with the road. The Carcass ply forms the skeleton of the tire. The side rubber is formed on the outer side of the tire and protects the Carcass ply. The side surface shape of the side rubber is a linear shape. The inner liner prevents the leak of air and is located inside the Carcass ply. The Carcass ply and inner liner makes arched shape.
