PURPOSE: A semiconductor device is provided to operate at high speed and obtain high performance. CONSTITUTION: Master CPU cores(109) download programs on a cache memory of a substrate(101). Slave CPU cores execute programs stored in the cache memory of the substrate. The cache memory stores programs, functions as a work area, and stores calculation results.
