摘要 PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a pouch type battery is provided to facilitate a process for applying UV curable material to an end part of a sealing part and curing the coated material, and to manufacture a battery with excellent sealability in high production yield and processing efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a pouch type battery comprises the steps of: forming a heat sealing part to the outer circumference of an accommodation part(112); perpendicularly bending the sealing parts(130,140) and closely attaching the side wall of the accommodation part; and applying UV-curable materials to the end part of the perpendicularly bent sealing part with a UV-curable material and irradiating ultraviolet rays to cure the material. The ultraviolet curable material is coated on the sealing part around of an electrode lead which protrudes to the outside of a battery case(110,120).
