PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing antibacterial furniture using natural cork is provided to deodorize and remove bad odor according to the discharge of poisonous materials of a board due to the emission of a large amount of far-infrared rays. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing antibacterial furniture using natural cork includes the steps of: processing a member(100) for furniture such as a middle density fiberboard(MDF) or particle board(PB), and synthetic wood to prepare a panel for furniture assembly, and polishing the surface using the manufactured panel using sandpaper; applying an antimicrobial composition to the surface of materials for furniture, wherein natural cork, coconut palm fiber, loess, as a binder, liquid emulsion, dispersing agent, and water; forming a coating layer by applying the liquid emulsion to the surface of the materials for furniture; and drying the coating layer using thermal drying or natural drying. |
