A transport-carrier for removable insertion in a centrifuge basket comprises a suspending member 2 and ring 3 (or arms, not shown) hinged to sector-plates 5 which are fitted outwardly to unload laundry goods supported thereby, each hinge axis being further from the rotational axis of the member 2 than the centre of gravity of the corresponding plate 5 at least when unloaded. As shown the centre of gravity of the plate 5 when the carrier is loaded with the maximum permitted weight of goods is nearer to the rotational axis than is the hinge axis so that the plates do not open out during transport of the carrier. |
