The invention relates to electrochemistry, in particular to an electrochemical modular hydrogen generation unit.The electrochemical modular hydrogen generation unit includes a cylindrical body (1), enclosed between heads (11, 9) with alkaline solution inlet (10) and outlet (20) nipples, hydrogen (13) and oxygen (14) withdrawal nipples, a volume-porous flow cathode (2) and a central tubular anode (3), mounted coaxially, as well as a diaphragm (4), installed between them, with the formation of cathode (8) and anode (19) compartments. The cathode (2) is connected to the body (1) and diaphragm (4) by means of jumpers (5, 6), on the upper end of anode and diaphragm is installed an oxygen collection cover (16), coupled with a nipple (14) for withdrawal thereof, at the same time the cover (16) is made with an inner coaxial tube with holes (18) for outlet of the alkaline solution through the anode coupled with the nipple (20) for withdrawal thereof. The upper head (11) is equipped with a hydraulic lock (12), mounted under the hydrogen withdrawal nipple (13).
