PURPOSE: A conditional storing system and method for an IPTV are provided to enhance the security of a digital broadcasting receiver by displaying a data stream of contents on a screen after decoding the data stream. CONSTITUTION: A terminal(100) acquires a specific key after decoding a specific encoding key through a personal key corresponding to the publication key of a corresponding terminal, and generates an encryption key based on an intrinsic value of the corresponding terminal and the obtained specific key. In addition, the terminal decodes the data stream encoded and stored into the generated content encryption key and displays the decoded data stream on a screen through a decoder after decoding operation. The terminal includes a first content encryption key generation module which generate a content encryption key through a specific key randomly generated based on the intrinsic value of the terminal.
