The invention relates to a low speed solar motor, carried out according to the principle of the electric motor with flexible rotor. According to the invention, the motor mainly comprises a flexible ferromagnetic rotor (1) upon which there acts an equivalent rotating magnetic field, produced by a stator comprising several pairs of electromagnets (2a-2a', 2b-2b', and 2c-2c') activated successively by means of a solar-optical position transducer, placed in a cylindrical piece for guiding the rotor. The solar optical transducer mainly comprises several opto-coupler modules, oriented in directions correlated with the directions of electromagnet pairs corresponding to the stator and wherein each module comprises an optical fibre (6) and a photoelement (7) coaxially placed and having between them an interstice (k) wherein there slides a shuttering plate (8), driven by means of a spur (9), by the very wall of the rotor (1). The solar motor carried out this way is used for driving the continuous sun-tracking system by some specialized installations used for solar energy conversion. |
