SILOXANE COMPOUND AND BRANCHED POLYCARBONATE MANUFACTURED USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A branched polycarbonate prepared using siloxane compounds is provided to improve shock resistance at low temperature. CONSTITUTION: A siloxane compound is denoted by chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, R1 is independently hydrogen atom, halogen atom, alkyl group, alkoxy group, or aryl group; and R2 is independently alkylene group or arylene group of 3-8 carbon atoms. A branched polycarbonate contain 0.5-40 weight% of branched structure induced from the siloxane compounds.
