SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PREDICTING STORM SURGE IN COASTAL AREAS

PURPOSE: A system and a method for predicting storm surge in coastal areas are provided to precisely produce storm surge. CONSTITUTION: A precision grating non-typhoon sea surface wind model(100) predicts sea-surface wind and sea surface atmosphere in non-typhoon time. A precision grating typhoon sea surface wind model(200) predicts sea-surface wind and sea surface atmosphere in typhoon attack. A precision grating surge model(300) predicts the height of storm surge using the sea-surface wind and sea surface atmosphere expected by the precision grating non-typhoon sea surface wind model and precision grating typhoon sea surface wind model.
