Disclosed are compounds of formula I wherein X is a carbon or nitrogen atom, Ar is a phenyl or heteroaromatic ring and the remaining substituents are as defined in the specification, or a pharmaceutically suitable acid addition salt thereof, their interaction with glucocorticoid steroid receptors and their use in treating stress related disorders, depression and anxiety.
