PURPOSE: A thin film transistor substrate and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to block the light of a color spacer without reducing an opening rate. CONSTITUTION: A normally black node LCD device includes a first insulating substrate, a second insulating substrate, a column spacer(311). The first insulating substrate includes a common voltage conductive pattern. The second insulating substrate includes a common electrode. The column space is arranged on the location in which the common voltage conductive pattern(310) and the common electrode overlaps by maintaining an interval between the first insulating substrate and second insulating substrate.
