<p>The present invention is directed to a switching device operable between different set-points for changing the state of operations of an electrical system comprising a housing with a recess formed on an inner perimeter surface of said housing at any set-point of the switching device. The knob is disposed within the housing, said knob includes a latch and a latch triggering mechanism, said latch is selectively releasable from the knob by the latch triggering mechanism to engage into or from the recess for locking or unlocking the switching device. The knob further includes a handle adapted for displacement between a resting position and an elevated position for controlling the latch triggering mechanism.</p> |
