<p>The invention relates to a process and an installation for preparing ground lime to be employed in producing gas-formed concrete. According to the invention, the process consists in roasting the limestone containing about 5% silicon dioxide, at 1120°C, thereby resulting caustic lime having a hydration time Ts = 100...120 s, hydration residue R063 = 1...2% and high caloric power, which is then ground, during grinding it being mixed in a ratio of 90% lime and 10% hydrated lime, vibrated and injected with compressed air at 2.5 barr, the mixture being then additivated with polyethylene glycol in a ratio of 0.4...0.7 kg/t of mixture, the resulting ground lime exhibiting T60 > 60 min, grinding fineness, residue on the sieve of 90μm <2...4% and a content of calcium and magnesium oxides >90%. The claimed installation comprises a lime storage hopper (1), some conveyor belts (2), a lime roasting furnace (3), a hammer mill (4) for grinding the lime, a silage (5) wherefrom lime is taken with some conveyors (6, 6') and transported to a mill (7) where hydrated lime from a silage (8) is dosed by a dosing device (11) and diethylene glycol from a reservoir (13) is introduced through a pump (12), the final product being stored in a silage (14).</p> |
