PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for automatically forming a welded part by peeling a coated steel pipe are provided to effectively remove cladding of a welded part of a steel pipe without residues using a bite and an iron brush. CONSTITUTION: A method for automatically forming a welded part by peeling a coated steel pipe comprises a setting step and a removing step. The setting step includes loading a coated steel pipe(P) to be rotated in a circumferential direction but not to move in a longitudinal direction and pressing the top of the coated steel pipe not to separate upward. The removing step includes cutting the cladding of a welded part(Pb) of the rotating coated steel pipe with a reciprocating bite(57), grinding the cladding left on the welded part with a rotating iron brush(69), and grinding the pipe end portion of the welded part with a grinding brush(79) to form a diagonal welded surface(Pc).
