The apparatus has an annular heating element (10) i.e. heating blade, mounted in an end of a dehorning head (2). Two rigid electrically conducting rods (21, 22) are fixed at an inner side of a case (1) to enclose a power supply source (6) i.e. rechargeable battery. An end (3) of the dehorning head supports the heating element. The heating element is assembled interdependent of the conducting rods, where each conducting rod is electrically connected respectively to each of two opposite electric connection tabs of the heating element.
