<p>The device has a disc that is integrated with a sheath (2) and comprises friction pads (12) provided opposite to a cable (1) and the sheath. Each friction pad is maintained in frictional contact with a face (10a) of a rigid wall (10), under a predetermined pressure, for permitting the damping of oscillating movements of the cable and the sheath, by sliding the pads on the wall face, when an amplitude of oscillating movements attains or exceeds the predetermined pressure. The contact pressure is adjusted by an elastically deformable unit (13) supported on a face of the disc.</p> |
