<p>The invention relates to a sensor meant to detect sand within the gas inflow, employed in oil industry, in the exploitation of oil and gas deposits and in gas storage wells. According to the invention, the sensor comprises an assembly (1) comprising a mechanical part (A) screw joined with a tight electronic signalling unit (B), the mechanical recyclable part (A) consisting of a reduction connecting piece (2) which has a hexagonal head (3) a male thread (4), a female thread (5), an erosion tube (8) closed at its bottom and provided, at its top part, with a shoulder (12) resting, by means of a sealing gasket (7) on another supporting shoulder (6), and wherein there slides a piston (9) with limited stroke, provided with some channels (13) for positioning some packings (10), the piston (9) having the role of actuating the electronic signalling unit (B) upon break-through of the tube (8) as a consequence of erosion produced by the sand in the gas inflow.</p> |
