The saw (1) has a casing (2) containing a guiding unit to guide a saw blade, and a transform unit transforming circular motion into an alternative rectilinear motion. A rotary element i.e. conical gear wheel, receives driving engine torque. kinematics of transformation of the circular motion into the rectilinear motion is integrated to the rotary element. A handle (3) is integrated with the casing by pivoting along an axis of rotation of the rotary element. The casing and the handle are connected to each other by a joint (4) that is shifted laterally with respect to the axis of the handle.
