PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain reduction of labor on a compression connection operation of jumper wires, bending prevention and quality improvement on a connection section of the jumper wire. SOLUTION: A jumper wire connection device includes: a compression connector 10 for connecting ends of respective jumper wires W; a jumper wire retention member 20 having clamps 21, 31 detachably fixed on respective jumper wires, jumper wire holding arms 28, 38 extending in directions crossing the respective jumper wires wherein some parts of the arms are fixed to the clamps 21, 31, respectively, and a coupling piece 40 for coupling and fixing between the other coupling parts of the respective jumper wire holding arms; and a base unit 50 having a first attaching and detaching portion 51 fixed detachably on the compression connector, base arms 55 wherein some parts of the base arms are fixed on the first attaching and detaching portion, and a second attaching and detaching portion 56 arranged on the other parts of the base arms and detachably attached on an intermediate section of the coupling piece. Each jumper wire holding arm urges an end of the each jumper wire in a direction pressing inside a compression sleeve upon connecting the jumper wires. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
