PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate necessity of having many kinds of mat seals by providing a structure in which the electric wire insertion holes of the mat seal can adhere closely to electric wires of a plurality of diameters. SOLUTION: The seal structure 3 is provided with a mat seal 5 which is installed on a wire leading out side 17 of a housing 2 and in which the electric wires 7, 9 led out from a terminal housing chamber 12 are inserted and which prevents permeation of water from the wire leading out side 17. The mat seal 5 has a body 21 and a plurality of wire insertion holes 23 from which the electric wires 7, 9 are inserted into the body 21. The wire insertion holes 23 are composed of a first insertion part 31 of an inner diameter corresponding to a thick electric wire 7 and a second insertion part 32 which has a larger diameter than the first insertion part 31 and corresponds to a thin electric wire 9. A rubber plug 35 which is installed at the outer periphery of the thin electric wire 9 is positioned in a close adhesion state at the first insertion part 31 or the second insertion part 32.
