INPUT MOTION ANALYSIS METHOD AND INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE

Provided are an input motion analysis method and an information processing device which enable simultaneous multi-point input using different types of input means to be correctly performed as intended by a user. The information processing device can simultaneously receive input motion by a finger (2) and by a pen (3) thinner than the finger (2) in the same input area (1) on a display screen. When an operator performs a first input motion by moving his/her finger (2) or the pen (3) on the surface of the input area (1) while at least his/her finger (2) is in contact with or close to the input area (1), the information processing device analyzes the first input motion by the finger (2) or the pen (3) not by using an input tool assessment criterion which assesses input motions by the pen (3), but rather by using a finger assessment criterion which assesses input motion by the finger (2) and has lower assessment analysis degree than the input tool assessment criterion.
