<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feeder which prevents jamming of lump materials and clears up the jammed condition of the lump materials for continuous feeding, thus avoiding the breakage of the lump materials or burnout of a motor to improve workability. <P>SOLUTION: In the feeder, the rotary power of a motor 7 is transmitted to a rotating shaft via a power transmission means to rotate a disc 9, by which lump materials in housing holes 9b are transferred to feeding outlets 11 and are sent out therefrom. The power transmission means has a fixed pulley with a motor shaft inserted through a shaft hole and a movable pulley which can slide in a direction of separating away from the fixed pulley along the motor shaft as the motor shaft is kept inserted through the shaft hole, the fixed pulley and the movable pulley being integrated together by a magnet 10. The power transmission means is composed of a driving pulley, a driven pulley disposed on the rotating shaft, and an elastic annular belt which is stretched between the movable pulley and the driven pulley to transmit the rotary power of the driving pulley to the driven pulley. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
