<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an appropriate correction value for applied current or a pumping period in the whole operation area, in a fuel injection device controlling the discharge of a fuel supply pump and feedback controlling common rail pressure to a target pressure. <P>SOLUTION: In a first operation area and a second operation area where a high-pressure pump has different discharge, the correction value is calculated based on the overshoot of the common rail pressure and a PID term in PID control.
