PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new display device having a memory performance, capable of performing color display, having good contrast and being durable. SOLUTION: The display device includes: a micro-pump chip 11; a glass substrate 12; and an image display substrate 13. The display device includes: an image display unit 15; a colored liquid; a colored liquid storage cavity; first and second throttling flow paths 123 and 125 to feed the colored liquid to the image display unit 15; and a micro-pump MP1 for sucking the colored liquid; wherein the micro-pump MP1 is a piezo-pump.
