PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection system for inspecting an object to be inspected containing a human based on a conveyor mechanism enclosed such as a van with road travel. SOLUTION: The conveyor mechanism is characterized by a storage body or armoring. A penetration radiation source and a spacial modulator for forming a penetration radiation into a beam are completely stored in the body of the conveyor mechanism together, irradiating the object based on a time change scanning profile. A detector module generates a scattered signal based on a penetration radiation scattered by a content of the object, and, on the other hand, a relative movement sensor generates a relative movement signal based on the relative arrangement between the conveyor mechanism and the object to be inspected. The image of the object content is dependent on the scattered signal and the relative movement signal partially, and then is formed from the signals. The detector, which may be separate from a scattering detector module or be in a part thereof, may indicate sensitivity to a decay product of a radioactive material. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
