PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acrylate compound of a high refractive index, comprising a naphthalene skeleton and an anthracene skeleton. SOLUTION: The acrylate compound is a 10-[1,4-di(meth)acryloyloxy-2-naphthyl]-9-anthryl(meth)acrylate compound, which is produced by (meth)acrylating a 10-(1,4-dihydroxy-2-naphthyl)anthracene-9(10H)-one compound.
