摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To emit a high frequency magnetic field of a resonant frequency corresponding to a wide variety of atomic nuclei, or to detect a nuclear magnetic resonance signal of a resonant frequency corresponding to a wide variety of atomic nuclei by a high frequency transmitting device or a high frequency receiving device in accordance with an atomic nucleus of many nuclides in addition to a proton. SOLUTION: A magnetic resonance imaging apparatus includes mixing means for mixing analog signals of a prescribed frequency, and frequency varying means which is connected to the mixing means and alters a frequency of a mixing signal to the mixing means to emit the high frequency magnetic field of a resonant frequency corresponding to a wide variety of atomic nuclei or to detect the nuclear magnetic resonance signal of a resonant frequency corresponding to a wide variety of atomic nuclei by a high frequency transmitting device or a high frequency receiving device which is compatible with a resonant frequency of one nuclide in accordance with the atomic nuclei of many nuclides in addition to a proton.
