<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of treating waste capable of stably and thoroughly removing lead from waste containing a large amount of lead such as incineration fly ash discharged from a municipal-waste incineration plant, molten fly ash discharged from an apparatus of melting waste or incineration ash, soot particles discharged from a cement kiln, and soot particles discharged from an apparatus for incinerating industrial waste, regardless of the kind of waste, and a method of converting waste into resources. <P>SOLUTION: The method of treating waste includes adding lead-containing waste into an aqueous solution containing calcium ion to form slurry, stirring the slurry to allow the lead component to dissolve into the slurry from the waste, suspending the stirring before the dissolved lead component returns to the waste, and separating the slurry into a solid component of a low lead content and a solution of a high lead content. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
