PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve capable of washing away a deposit deposited in an outlet of an injection hole by using the cavitation of fuel. SOLUTION: The fuel injection valve includes: a nozzle body 30 having a suck part 33, which is formed with an injection hole 31 at the tip; and a needle valve 20 housed in the nozzle body 30 freely to be displaced in the extension direction of the center axis C. In the fuel injection valve, the shape of the needle valve 20 and the shape of the nozzle body 30 are designed so that an extension line L1 of the center line of a gap between a seat surface 21 and a seat abutting part 32 when the needle valve 20 is positioned in a valve opening position crosses in the injection hole 31, an extension line L2 of the center line of a gap between the seat surface 21 and the seat abutting surface 32 at an opposite side of the needle valve 20 without being blocked on the way.
