摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion device and combustion method which further generate high temperature by enhancing combustion efficiency. SOLUTION: The combustion device includes: a first air blowing device sending combustion air inside a combustion furnace as a turning flow; a hollow stirring rod 241 stirring the solid fuel input in the combustion furnace while rotated horizontally on the furnace bottom of the combustion furnace; and a second air blowing device sending combustion air inside the stirring rod 241. In the stirring rod 241, air blowing holes for injecting the combustion air from the air blowing device to the solid fuel are provided in positions serving as a rotating direction front side and inclined downwardly, as blow-up air blowing holes 2411, at predetermined intervals in the longitudinal direction. On the rear side of the stirring rod 241, air blowing holes for injecting combustion air toward the side opposite to the rotating direction are provided as rear air blowing holes 2412. By injection from a furnace wall inside the furnace, combustion is further promoted by an air flow turned into a turning flow and the combustion air injected from the stirring rod 241.
