PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly efficiently and highly accurately position a workpiece 12 even when form and dimension thereof are changed with a simple and inexpensive structure. SOLUTION: After a machining face 13 of the workpiece 12 is brought into planar contact with reference surfaces 21 and 22 whose arranging positions are adjusted to a machining path of a machining tool, the workpiece 12 is fixed to the position by a fixing device 43 to position the machining face 13 of the workpiece 12 on the machining path. Accordingly, even when the form and dimension of the workpiece 12 are changed, the machining face 13 of the workpiece 12 may be simply brought into planar contact with the reference surfaces 21 and 22. Thus, a positioning operation can be highly efficiently and highly accurately carried out. The same reference members 19 and 20 can meet the workpiece 12 having different form and dimension.
