<p>The present invention discloses a method and apparatus for transmitting speech information, both of which can: obtain a beacon frame from an access point and achieve continuous clock synchronization with said access point based on the timestamp information of the obtained beacon frame; obtain speech frames after achieving continuous clock synchronization, remove the control information of the obtained speech frames and obtain Pulse Code Modulation(PCM) signals, then obtain speech signals based on the obtained PCM signals and transmit subsequently; or obtain speech signals after achieving continuous clock synchronization, obtain PCM signals based on the obtained speech signals, then add medium access control frame headers to the obtained PCM signals and transmit subsequently. By using the method and apparatus provided by the embodiments of the present invention, the problem of transmitting speech information in the field of Voice over Internet Protocol using WLAN to transmit voice is solved, and the reliability and real-time property of transmitting speech information are improved.</p> |
